booker jo
under construction

The books, in one place — and finally legible.

bkr is short for booker — a bookkeeper. jo is the helper, an androgynous short name for the one who keeps the ledger. Together, bkrjo is a personal bookkeeping and organizing system: the assistant, and the books.

What it is

It starts as one owner's own tool: accounts and balances, what came in, what went out, what is owed, what is due — in a single place, readable at a glance instead of buried three menus deep. Something you open to look up an answer, not a dashboard built for show.

From there it is aimed at the work bookkeeping programs do, minus the parts that make them exhausting to live in every day.

How it grows

This page is the front door and nothing else yet. Working pages get added as subdirectories as they are built, and get listed here once they hold up under real use.

What it is not

  • Not a public product and not open for sign-ups. It is a personal system for its owner first.
  • No tracking, no cookies, no third-party scripts, no external fonts or CDNs — this page loads nothing but itself.
  • No live financial data on this page, and none anywhere until it is ready to be trusted with it.
Under construction — pages appear here as they are built.
